Dr Kennedy has over 20 years of experience in the management of each of these conditions and keeps up to date by participation in continuing professional development programmes, conference and journal participation, and close interaction with colleagues both in Australia and overseas.

The practice also embraces the latest technology to help us in the management of all conditions, and examples of instruments purchased in the past year are
- OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) machine for diagnosis and management of glaucoma and macular disease.
- Digital Retinal Photography System in particular for retinal photography and angiography.
- Software update on IOL master for the most accurate determination of intraocular lens powers prior to cataract surgery.
- Software update on the Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer for early detection of visual field defects in glaucoma.
